Shrikhand Mahadev Yatra (5,186 m) is a spiritual yatra in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh . Trekatribe offers trekking to this awakening trek in the month of June-September. Book yourself today to travel with like-minded people. Shrikhand Mahadev Trek length is 64 km and is one of the high altitude treks in Himachal. Shrikhand Kailash is one of the abodes of Lord Shiva. The trek to the Kinner Kailash starts from Jaon village. Before starting this Spiritual Journey we must go to Goddess Kali Temple situated at Jaon to receive the blessings from Maa Kali. From Jaon we will start our journey and will walk 3 km to reach Singhad, the first Basecamp where Langar Suvidha (Free meal service) is available, then from there we will climb 12km Straight uphill Stretch to Thaachru also Known as 'Dandi ki Dhaar' because of its Elevation angle of almost 70-Degrees One gets to see lush green Deodar trees & Streams while moving towards Thaachru. After Thaachru, we will ascend towards Kali Ghati and further towards Bheem Dwar via Kunsa Valley. Then an amazing journey follows from Bheem Dwar to the top. From the top, one can witness beautiful Himalayan ranges and mesmerizing cloud formations all around. Towards the north one can witness the virgin peak known as Kartikey peak. The whole family of Lord Shiva in one or other form resides on top of the Shrikhand Kailash. The whole journey is breathtaking with stunning views all around throughout the trek. The journey has variable terrains throughout the trek, starting from dense forests in Jaon, Singhad to beautiful meadows in Kunsa Valley, Bheem Dwar then crossing of glaciers and finally small boulders trek to reach to the top of Shrikhand Kailash to receive blessings from Lord Shiva. There is one more trek of 32 km to reach to the top which stars from Phancha, a village located in Jeori, Rampur, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Shrikhand Mahadev Trek Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Shimla. Drive towards Rampur and then towards Jaon. 2 km trek towards Singhad. Dinner, night stay in Singhad.
Day 2
Early morning trek after the breakfast towards Thaachru, an uphill trek of nearly 12 km. Dinner and night stay in Thaachru in tents.
Day 3
Early morning trek after the breakfast towards Bheem Dwar via Bheem Talai and Kunsa Valley. Dinner and night stay in tents in Bheem Dwar.
Day 4
Early morning trek after breakfast towards the top via Nainsarovar Lake and Bheem Paudi. After reaching the top, briefing about the passes, peaks, and ranges visible from the top. After spending 30 to 45 minutes at the top, swiftly descend back towards Bheem Dwar. Dinner and night stay in Bheem Dwar.
Day 5
Morning Descend back towards Jaon village. Drive back to Shimla. Departure to particular places.(Night stay in Shimla would be arranged if required by you)
