Perfect for a quick weekend escape, the Prashar Lake trek is a perfect blend of adventure and a spiritual journey. It lies 65 km north of Mandi, with a three-storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The lake is highly revered among the locals, and it is said that the temple was built using a single deodar tree. The lake has a floating island in it, and it is said to be unclear how deep it is. The 180-degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, and Kinnaur mountain ranges is sure to leave you awe-struck.
