Kedarkantha trek will give you an inimitable view of the cosmic sky, lush meadows, snow paths, charming villages, scented pine forests, sky-knocking peaks, tranquil rivers, and some mythological story whispers.
Experience the lovely campsites, where every site is unique in its own way. Get a chance to camp around frozen Juda ka Talab, which was once a place for meditation of Lord Shiva. Experience walking in the middle of the night, the head torches lighting the way, and watching the sunrise from the top of a mountain before you reach the Summit.
The climb to the peak of Kedarkantha starts from a small village called Sankri. There are a total of 13 peaks in the Himalayan range visible from the Kedarkantha peak. The experience of summit climbing is truly special and stays with you for a long time. There is a lake called Juda-ka-Talab; the locals say that once upon a time, Lord Shiva meditated at Kedarkantha. Its name implies so from the droplet that fell from Shiva's hair to form this lake named as Juda-ka-Talab. You will get to see Godly peaks like Swargarohini, Black Peak, and Bandarpoonch during this trek. The Kedarkantha trek is ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers.
